New head office Kingspan Light and Air France
Saint-Priest, in the Rhône department of France
At the start of January 2019, Kingspan Light + Air brought all its departments together, relocating them at a single industrial site. The new head office, located in Saint-Priest, is the workplace of 200 employees and covers 30,000m 2. The project, representing an investment of over 20 million euros, should help the industrial group respond better to the growth of its business. With a ‘Very Good’ rating in BREEAM certification, the site sees itself as a demonstration of high-level performance. Read on to find out more about it!
Twenty million euros is the amount Kingspan Light + Air invested in building its new head office. Situated in Saint-Priest, in France’s Rhône department, the site covers 30,000 m2 (28,000 m2 in warehouse space and 2,000 m2 in offices) and brings together all the firm’s departments.
It should help the enterprise “respond better to the growth” of its business and “become more productive by optimising industrial flows”, according to Raoul Roth, CEO of Kingspan Light + Air.
For the company, which specialises in the design, manufacture and application of solutions in natural lighting, ventilation and smoke management for buildings in commerce, services and industry, the project prompted it to rethink the way it organises production.
Its storage capacity has doubled, the aim being to meet—“in shorter turnarounds”—specific demands in traditional markets (new works, damp-proofers and fitters) and to target new markets.
